Motorbikes have always been our passion. As kids we stripped down old mopeds and would tear across local fields until we fell off, ran out of petrol or the local police turned up. We learned a lot back then, how to ride, how to stay upright, and how to keep our bikes running no matter what. We earned a bit of a reputation too, for fast bikes and racing around the streets like the teenagers we were.
Fast forward more than a few decades and years spent building careers by day and bikes by night, we decided it was time to put our passion front and centre. In 2010, we founded JAL Motorcycle Restorations Ltd specialising in the care, repair and restoration of classic motorcycles be they road bikes or race bikes from the dawn of motorcycling through to 1989 BC (that's before computers) and sometimes a little later.
We offer a one stop shop for classic motorcycle servicing, repair and restoration for like minded motorcyclists who appreciate the beauty and stories behind these classic machines. We can restore your motorcycle to like new condition, build for you something unique or tailor a motorcycle to your individual style and preferences. Or if patina is your thing we will take a sympathetic approach working carefully to preserve your bikes history.
